Yuco Lacovara is a New York City based stylist, retoucher and photographer. Born and raised in Japan, her grandfather was a war photographer and her father always had a passion for film and photography. She came to New York to study fashion/film/photography in 1996. While taking fashion classes at FIT and film classes at Baruch college, she also began interning with James T Murray in 1997. In addition to assisting photographers, she also began doing fashion styling during shoots and learning post production and retouching. She enjoys being involved in the creative process of concept, execution and refining of the image. She has worked continually for such clients as Neiman Marcus, Victoria's Secret, PINK, Saks Fifth Avenue, LOFT, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Calvin Klein, Athleta, Maybelline, Bulova, Four Seasons Magazine, Departures Magazine, Ritz Carlton Magazine, Ippolita, Scentbird, Assouline, Marc Jacobs, Nancy Gonzalez, Anthropologie, Zales, Verishop, Supergoop, Man of Metropolis, GENLUX magazine and InterContinental Hotels.
